Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Transportation Services is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the transportation department, ensuring efficient and safe movement of goods or passengers. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing drivers and fleet operations, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and improving operational efficiency. Your role includes training and leading staff to deliver high-quality customer experiences, addressing guest inquiries and special requests, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments. You will also monitor performance metrics, maintain service standards, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence are essential for success in this dynamic role. 


Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management. 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 

  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities. 

  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. 

  • Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office. 

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
