Job Description

  • To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • To oversee the smooth operation of the hotel and be the key contact for any guest issues or hotel emergencies.
  • To handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the appropriate leaders.
  • To assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
  • To take responsibilities to make necessary decisions in absence of General Manager/Hotel Manager/ Excom leaders.
  • To walk through the hotel including outlets and banquet ensuring smooth operation and supporting if necessary.
  • To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • To follow all safety policies.
  • Shift work required.
  • Cash handling.
  • Oversee front office and guest services during shift.
  • Rom allocation for arrivals of the next day.
  • Liaise with Guest Experience Manager to ensure VIP guest's needs are met.
  • Identify sales leads to be follow-up up by sales department.
  • Constantly monitor team members' appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism.
  • Motivate and provides a work environment which brings out the best in team members.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services/features.
  • Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Previous PMS experience required.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset.
  • University/College degree in a related discipline an asset or equivalent experience.
  • Report writing.
  • Medium to High level Japanese language.
