Job Description

Maître D’:

Lead the Stage:

  • Orchestrate Excellence: Ensure a seamless dining experience from reservations to fond farewells, upholding the highest standards for service and making every guest feel like a star.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and inspire a talented team to deliver exceptional service every night. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, mentoring and nurturing your team's full potential.
  • Operational Maestro: Manage restaurant operations, including budget, payroll, and other expenses. Craft strategic plans to maximize revenue and ensure financial success.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Analyze sales data, guest reviews, and other metrics to identify trends and make informed decisions that elevate The Waterlot Inn's performance, and maximizes profit return.

Your Vision, Our Success:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with the Fairmont Southampton Executive team to develop innovative strategies that elevate our brand and maximize profitability.
  • Culinary Innovator: Identify opportunities to make The Waterlot Inn Bermuda's top culinary destination through creative and strategic thinking.
  • Vision Execution: Lead the team in executing the leadership vision of the re-imagined restaurant, ensuring alignment with the overall goals and objectives.
  • Promotional Participation: Actively participate in promotional opportunities for the restaurant, including digital media ads and public relations opportunities.

Beyond the Baton:

  • Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and support to your team, ensuring their growth and development.
  • Operational Expertise: Utilize your expertise in Micros or similar POS systems to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced Leader: At least three years of experience leading a team in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Hospitality Passion: A deep understanding of luxury service and a passion for hospitality.
  • Master Organizer: Ability to balance operational needs with exceptional guest service.
  • Dynamic and Adaptable: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with adaptability and initiative.

 


Additional Information

Schedules:  Irregular hours including nights, weekends and public holidays and 24 hours on call apply to this position
