As our next Maintenance Team Member, you…

Have a good understanding of building maintenance.

Manage maintenance projects and work in accordance with hotel’s quality requirements.

Are responsible for preventative maintenance work and carry out regular safety and maintenance inspections across the hotel to create a pleasant and safe environment for all colleagues, guests and visitors.

Manage and supervise team members in their day to day tasks, providing instructions and support, if needed.

Supervise contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.

As Maintenance Engineer you will have the opportunity to contribute to a fabulous guest experience together with your team. To help you do that we will support you with the knowledge and skills to be successful in your role.

Our hotel offers 121 rooms, and 7 meeting rooms. Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel is a wonderfully vibrant hotel, set in the busy market town of Bedford. Being in the heart of the town centre, the hotel is the perfect option for guests who wish to explore the town or are visiting on business. Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.
