Leydi is part of Hyde London City, marking the rebirth of a London icon. This lavish seven-storey, 111-room property at 15 Old Bailey draws upon a rich and storied past to create a luxurious, bespoke hideaway in the heart of the city. Hyde London City will be a destination unto itself, hosting unmatched experiences for locals and ultimately the discerning global traveller.


Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a Head Waiter to be the face of our guests’ experience, bringing your own flavour to their table. Leading, guiding and mentoring the team to ensure guests have a blast from start to finish.

What you’ll do…

  • Lead, train and guide the team, making sure they know menu inside and out.
  • Rocking the set up and breakdown of the floor, service stations, and backstage areas.
  • Meeting and greeting guests, finding appropriate seating, and accommodating requests.
  • Owning the guest experience and creating unforgettable moments throughout their visit.
  • Check reservations system for bookings and special requests.
  • Stocking of condiments and assisting with stock system.
  • Cleaning of all restaurant spaces including all areas that the guests will travel.
  • Keeping the beat with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • Previous experience in a busy Front of House role; you genuinely care about making people feel looked after.
  • Nothing is an issue for you - you know what our guests want even before they do.

  • Passionate about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues.
