Food & Beverage Team Leader

Hyde Hacienda Sydney Bar + Lounge is without a doubt one of the hottest venues within Sydney. With one of the most iconic views of the Harbour Bridge, Hyde Hacienda offers its signature cocktail menu, South American inspired eats designed to share and some of Australia’s finest DJs and live music. We are located within the luxurious 5-star Sydney hotel, Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, which offers apartment-style suites for business and leisure guest’s luxury accommodation.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team, ensuring they deliver professional, efficient and friendly service. Your duties will include:

• Maintaining product knowledge of all items on the menu, including food and drinks, in order to advise and make recommendations to guests. Use every opportunity to maximise sales.
• Serve food & beverage items with flair and professionalism according to company standards.
• Ensure all service areas and equipment are kept clean and organised.
• Ensure revenue for the shift is accurately accounted for, with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.

• A true ‘people person’ who is able to create connections with our guests and residents quickly.
• Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar environment beneficial.
• You will have passion, and well-rounded knowledge of the latest food and wine trends.
• Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• The flexibility and reliability to work late evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
