Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor to join our team in Novotel Cairo El Borg Hotel Cairo, Egypt. As the Front Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service in our hotel's front office operations.

  • Manage and supervise front office staff, including receptionists to ensure optimal guest satisfaction
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
  • Conduct regular shift briefings to communicate hotel activities and operational requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Train and mentor front office staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Analyze front office performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
  • Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with key clients and partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
  • Experience in cash handling and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus
