Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused F&B Captain to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As an F&B Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and motivating our food and beverage service team.

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction
  • Lead, train, and motivate the food and beverage service team to maintain excellent service standards
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Manage reservations, table assignments, and seating arrangements
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures for food and beverage service
  • Assist in menu planning and pricing strategies
  • Handle cash transactions and manage end-of-day financial reports

Qualifications

  • Min 2 years of experience in food and beverage service
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards and trends
  • Familiarity with Malaysian hospitality standards and international cuisine
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
