Job Description

Sofitel Wellington invites you to elevate your career as our Concierge, where luxury meets impeccable service.

As the first and last touchpoint of our guests’ journey, you will embody the essence of French art de vivre, creating a seamless and sophisticated experience from arrival to departure. With grace and intuition, you will anticipate needs, curate personalized recommendations, and ensure every moment is effortlessly magnifique.

Your role extends beyond the lobby - you will orchestrate seamless valet services, oversee impeccable guest assistance, and bring the charm of Sofitel to life with every interaction. If you have a passion for excellence and a flair for hospitality, we invite you to be part of our distinguished team.

This role is part-time permanent (Minimum 8 hours per week)


Qualifications

*Restricted or Full NZ Driver’s license and able to drive both manual and auto preferred*

  • Service focused personality is essential; customer service experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Previous similar experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Wellington sights and events
  • Able to take Initiative and adapt to changing conditions
  • You will need to hold working rights for New Zealand
  • Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
  • Previous experience in five star luxury environment preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
