Job Description

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, including loading and unloading luggage from vehicles.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms.
  • Provide information about the hotel and local area, including dining options, attractions, and transportation.
  • Answer guest inquiries and address their concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with guest requests such as arranging transportation, making reservations, and delivering messages.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bell desk and luggage storage area.
  • Assist with valet parking services (if applicable).
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings.
  • Proactively identify and address guest needs.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Strive to exceed guest expectations at all times

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Physical fitness, as the job involves lifting and carrying luggage
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred, but not always required.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
