Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and motivated Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As the L&D Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies that align with our organization's goals and enhance employee performance.

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative training programs and learning initiatives
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities across the organization
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and other e-learning platforms
  • Create and maintain a diverse curriculum of in-person and online training materials
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure their impact on employee performance
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure learning initiatives support business objectives
  • Manage the L&D budget and resources efficiently
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the L&D team
  • Report on key performance indicators and present findings to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in L&D or a related field, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful training programs
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles
  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Proficiency in performance evaluation and training effectiveness measurement
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation
  • Knowledge of organizational development principles
  • Professional certifications such as CPLP or ATD certifications are a plus
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to the local context of AlUla, Saudi Arabia

Additional Information

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
