    Job Description

    Fairmont Gold Supervisor
    At Fairmont Palliser, unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Fairmont Gold, our exclusive “hotel within a hotel” experience. As Fairmont Gold Supervisor, you will bring our exceptional “Fairmont Gold standards” to life – not only by delivering warm, personalized service to our guests, but also by being a role model for your Colleagues.

    Reporting to the Fairmont Gold Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  

    • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
    • To monitor maintenance of the physical Fairmont Gold product (Guestrooms and Lounge)
    • Review all Fairmont Gold reservations to ensure guest requests are met
    • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and appropriately while logging and notifying proper areas
    • Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty
    • Provide exceptional concierge services to our guests
    • Ensure all Fairmont Gold Standards and operating procedures are adhered
    • Ensure food & beverage service in the lounge is executed smoothly and safely. This applies to breakfast service, canapés service and the honor bar
    • To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
    • To follow all safety policies, especially surrounding food safety
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Must be available on weekends.

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience in luxury guest services is required.
    • A valid and active ProServe Certification is mandatory.
    • Experience with Property Management Systems is necessary.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications is required.
    • Previous experience in food and beverage is an advantage.
    • Strong attention to detail is essential.
    • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
    • Highly responsible, reliable, and punctual.
    • Capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
    • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and attentive to guest needs at all times.
    • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
    • A University/College degree in a relevant field is a plus.
