Job Description

The role of the Group Rooms and Reservations Coordinator is to maintain and enhance automation of the sales and revenue management databases in order to maximize productivity and record/ analyze results. You are a multi-tasker and able to work independently, performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support your team. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Perform administrative functions for group bookings including building blocks, entering rooming lists, managing group inventory, and auditing group blocks after departure
  • Be the main hotel contact for social and citywide room blocks. Complete the group resumes for these groups
  • Run group pick up report and facilitate bi-weekly meeting
  • Create group booking links in Passkey and maintain inventory balance between Passkey and Opera
  • Respond in a professional and courteous manner to telephone inquiries regarding reservations and hotel information by providing accurate and timely information and service.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Proficient in Opera (PMS) and Excel
  • Knowledge of Delphi FDC (sales system) and Passkey recommended
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a luxury property
  • Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
  • Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
