Job Description
Be the first point of connection for our guests and set the tone for an exceptional stay. As a Casual Reservations Sales Agent, you’ll combine strong customer service with a proactive sales approach to maximise revenue and create seamless booking experiences.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with guests, identifying opportunities, and delivering personalised service in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility that casual employment offers.
What You’ll Do
- Convert enquiries into bookings through confident selling and upselling
- Provide prompt, professional responses via phone and email
- Accurately manage reservations and guest information
- Promote hotel services, packages, and special offers
- Resolve guest enquiries with a positive, solutions-focused approach
- Monitor availability, rates, and opportunities to maximise revenue
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years’ experience in Front Office or Reservations
- Previous experience in a sales-focused role (highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with guests
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office; Opera Cloud experience advantageous
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
