What we're looking for
You are an enthusiastic and motivated individual ready for the first step into your HR career. You are a multi-tasker and can work independently, performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support your team. You communicate well with all contacts, anticipate and resolve issues, and update the team on your various projects.
What you will be doing
As a People and Culture Coordinator, you will play a dynamic and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture function. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will juggle multiple priorities, respond to competing demands, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
This role is all about people. You will help create a positive and engaging team member experience by supporting initiatives, activities, and events that make our workplace a great place to be. You are proactive, organised, and genuinely passionate about looking after our team members and fostering a supportive culture.
You are also a Canva superstar, using your creativity to bring team communications, events, and engagement initiatives to life. Whether you are coordinating administration, supporting team activities, or helping deliver culture initiatives, no two days will be the same.
This role reports directly to the Director of Talent & Culture and is a full-time position.
Our Hotel
The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a modern dual-branded property, proudly welcoming guests since opening on 1 July 2024. With a total of 464 rooms - 248 in Novotel Melbourne Airport and 216 in ibis Styles Melbourne Airport, this dynamic new development is just steps from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport, offering convenience and comfort for travellers and professionals alike.

Our elegant ballroom can host up to 480 guests for a cocktail-style event or 240 for a seated banquet and can be effortlessly divided into Ballroom 1, 2, and 3, providing flexible configurations to suit any occasion, whether it’s a conference, workshop, product launch, or celebration. For guests seeking a productive environment, Aerofoil, our premium co-working space, offers a stylish and comfortable setting ideal for catching up on work between flights, hosting important meetings, or staying connected on the go.
