About Mid Air: Mid Air is our rooftop gem, offering a Mediterranean-inspired dining experience. Located on level 12, Mid Air serves breakfast, lunch and delicious dinners, all while providing stunning views of the Melbourne skyline. It's the perfect spot for guests to unwind and enjoy a vibrant, sun-kissed atmosphere.

We're on the lookout for a Venue Manager who lives and breathes hospitality, knows how to command a room, and thrives in an atmosphere where unforgettable moments happen on the daily. You’ll be the heartbeat of our rooftop venue Mid Air and Room Service - leading operations, energising the team, and delivering bold, seamless service that keeps the good times rolling. Whether it’s a high-end event, a late-night celebration, or a casual day-to-evening experience, you’ll ensure everything runs like clockwork while keeping the guest experience front and centre.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the venue with flair, energy, and precision
• Drive a high-performance team culture, recruiting, training, and inspiring hospitality legends
• Collaborate closely with culinary, marketing, and events teams to bring activations and experiences to life
• Manage service flow and floor operations to ensure a smooth and unforgettable guest journey
• Oversee stock control, supplier relationships, and venue financials including labour and cost management

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced, premium venue or lifestyle hotel
• Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for people and guest connection
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and thrive in high-energy environments
• Operational excellence in service, floor management, and venue financials
• A forward-thinking, solutions-driven approach with a keen eye for detail
• An obsession with creating extraordinary guest experiences
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Must have valid Australian Working Rights
