Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Uniform Attendant to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a Uniform Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing our staff uniforms, ensuring our team always presents a professional appearance.

  • Provide new staff members with appropriate uniforms, ensuring proper fit and style
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of uniform inventory and distribution
  • Collect, sort, and process soiled uniforms for washing or dry cleaning
  • Verify the accuracy and condition of returned clean uniforms
  • Report and follow up on any misuse of uniforms
  • Distribute clean uniforms to staff members according to established procedures
  • Regularly inspect uniforms for wear and tear, reporting necessary write-offs and replacements
  • Coordinate uniform repairs when possible
  • Adhere to uniform room opening times and maintain a clean, orderly workspace
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to uniform handling
  • Collaborate with other departments to address uniform-related concerns
  • Provide friendly and professional service to all staff members

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with a customer-focused approach
  • Physical stamina to handle and process uniforms throughout the day
  • Great memory for managing inventory and staff uniform assignments
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining accurate digital records
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
