We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Tour Desk Agent. As a Tour Desk Agent with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge you have the opportunity to provide a welcome experience like no other.

What you will be doing:   

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service 
• Follow Front Office policies, procedures and service standards 
• Welcoming tour guests, making necessary welcome arrangements.  
• Dealing with mass check in and check outs for tour groups 
• Acting as a liason between Tours and other departments within the hotel 
• Liaise with tour directors, creating and maintaining a positive relationship between the hotel and tour guests 
• Ensure all rooming lists are entered in a timely manner and tour room assignments are reviewed prior to the tour arrival 
• Maintaining the tour email inbox, responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries 
• Promptly and pleasantly handle phone calls and guest messages 
• Process and balance postings for each shift 
• Maintain Company issued float and balance for each shift 
• Ensure that the Tour Desk is appropriately supplied and stocked at all times 
• Following all safety and sanitation policies 
• Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles 
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions.  
• Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include: 

• Previous related experience in the Hospitality Industry an asset 
• Valid Driver's License  
• Customer service experience required 
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required 
• Professional telephone etiquette and excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities 
• Highly responsible & reliable  
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision 
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times 

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
