Job Description

What you’ll do...

As the Technology Coordinator, you will support three properties: Hyde Mexico City Reforma, Mama Shelter Roma and Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. As part of our Technology team, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, systems, services and support across the hotels.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, service-oriented professional who enjoys supporting end users, coordinating with vendors, following up on IT issues and participating in technology projects that keep our hotels connected, secure and operating efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day IT operations across the three hotels, ensuring systems, equipment and services are functioning properly.
  • Provide technical support to end users, helping resolve hardware, software, connectivity, access and system-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the coordination and follow-up of IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, WiFi improvements, system implementations and hotel openings.
  • Work closely with on-site teams to understand operational needs and ensure technology support is aligned with business priorities.
  • Support the maintenance of IT infrastructure, including administration, patching, upgrades and basic troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers and internal teams to follow up on service requests, incidents, warranties, support contracts and project tasks.
  • Assist with the technology elements for hotel, bar and restaurant openings.
  • Support the management of network environments, connectivity, WAN links and related infrastructure, escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Help ensure compliance with company standards, cybersecurity practices, PCI requirements and data protection guidelines.
  • Support endpoint management and user/device administration through platforms such as Microsoft Intune MDM, when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, users, licenses, incidents and project follow-up.
  • Stay curious about new technologies and trends that could improve the employee and guest experience.
  • Perform any other reasonable responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • Previous experience in IT support, IT operations, or coordination of technology projects, ideally within hospitality or multi-site environments.
  • Experience providing day-to-day technology support to internal users and operational teams.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and related infrastructure.
  • Experience working with a broad range of IT equipment and solutions, including phone systems, network devices, firewalls, computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Genuine interest in technology, innovation, and developments within the IT industry.
  • Hands-on, responsible, and results-oriented mindset, with a willingness to get involved and see tasks through to completion.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up skills across incidents, projects, vendors, and user requests.
  • Ability to document, track, and maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, user access, service requests, and project progress.
  • Clear communication skills, a warm approach, and a strong service mindset when supporting operational and administrative teams.
  • Collaborative, enthusiastic, and reliable; eager to be part of a team that works hard, supports one another, and enjoys the journey.
  • Willingness to travel between properties within Mexico City, according to operational needs.
  • Professional IT certifications are desirable, such as Microsoft, networking, cybersecurity, project management, or vendor-specific certifications.
