Our esteemed hotel is centrally located in Cairns City. Our property features 324 elegantly appointed rooms, 18 versatile meeting spaces, Coco’s Kitchen and Bar, as well as in-room dining services. Join our team as a Storeperson and play a key role in logistics and inventory management.


Job Description

Delivering a 5-Star Experience Every Step of the Way
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee incoming deliveries, manage stock handling, and ensure inventory accuracy at our iconic property. If you're passionate about logistics and inventory management, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming deliveries, including food, beverage, and general supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage and distribution to relevant areas or departments.
  • Track inventory levels, manage restocks, and monitor expiry dates.
  • Adhere to stock handling and access control procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, security, and organization of storerooms and loading docks.
  • Assist with monthly stock counts and accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about growth and development, and who are committed to making a meaningful impact within our team. If you're driven to elevate the guest experience and contribute to the success of a premier 5-star hotel, we want to hear from you. 

  • Previous experience as a stores officer or related position, preferably in the Hospitality industry.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of stores and logistics processes, policies and systems
  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hold a current forklift license
  • Strong focus and passion for hotel operations
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
