Job Description

**Primary Function:**

The Senior Sales Manager will drive revenue growth through strategic market analysis, relationship management, and execution of targeted sales initiatives. This role requires proactive identification of market opportunities, development of effective sales programmes, and close collaboration with senior leadership to achieve organisational objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Strategic Sales & Market Development**

  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and competitive assessment to identify opportunities and inform sales strategy development
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Associate Director of Sales in developing and implementing strategic sales plans for assigned segments
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects within targeted market segments, preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations
  • Establish and nurture relationships with current and prospective customers to support business growth
  • Maintain awareness of industry events, conventions, and market opportunities relevant to facility sales

**Sales Performance & Reporting**

  • Develop annual sales goals and working plans, monitoring actual performance against targets and implementing corrective actions as required
  • Submit regular reporting including weekly sales plans, monthly market analysis, and daily activity reports
  • Provide the Director of Sales with progress updates on activities, customer intelligence, forecasts, and feedback
  • Contribute to increased business volume and revenue targets

**Team Leadership & Co-ordination**

  • Establish and maintain effective co-operation with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and motivate the sales team, promoting teamwork and smooth departmental functioning
  • Ensure all personnel are informed of departmental objectives, policies, and safety provisions
  • Respond promptly to queries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure team training on all relevant safety and operational requirements

**Financial & Operational Management**

  • Identify cost-effective resource utilisation and educate the team on optimal practices
  • Escalate any matters affecting organisational interests to Management attention

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ previous sales experience in the Hospitality Sector
  • Should have good Knowledge of Pune Market
