Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Sales Executive - Corporate & MICE is responsible for driving Corporate and MICE revenue across Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa. This cluster role focuses on proactive account acquisition, strategic account management, and maximizing conversion opportunities while positioning both hotels as leading destinations for corporate travel, meetings, incentives, conferences, and social events.

The role requires a dynamic, commercially savvy sales professional who understands both luxury and lifestyle segments, with the ability to tailor solutions, build strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional guest and client experiences.

What you will be DOING:

1.   Corporate & MICE Sales Development

  • Support the Corp and MICE team to proactively source, negotiate, and secure Corporate and MICE business for both Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa, with support of the Cluster Assistant Director of Sales, Corporate & MICE.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned room night, catering, and total revenue targets across both properties.
  • Manage RFPs, proposals, and contracts, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across local, regional, and international markets.

2.     Account Management & Client Relationships

  • Assist in developing a portfolio of key Corporate and MICE accounts, including corporates, PCOs, agents, and event planners.      
  • Build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers through regular sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization trips.    
  • Position Raffles Sentosa Singapore for exclusive, high-end meetings and incentive experiences, and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa for dynamic corporate and lifestyle-led events.

3.     Cluster Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Support the development and execution of the cluster Corporate & MICE sales strategy.      
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to optimize sales approach and pricing strategy.

4.     Internal Collaboration & Event Delivery

  • Work closely with Events Sales & Services, Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure seamless handovers and flawless execution.
  • Ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and consistently delivered across both properties.

5.     Administration, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate account information, sales pipelines, and forecasts within the CRM system.      
  • Prepare regular sales reports and contribute to budgeting and strategic planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Accor policies, brand standards, and contractual guidelines.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in hotel sales, with a strong focus on Corporate and/or MICE segments.      
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in luxury and/or upper-upscale hospitality preferred.
  • Strong understanding of MICE contracting, and revenue management principles.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance luxury positioning and revenue optimization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.       
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Additional Information

Your experience and skills include:

  • Strong understanding of Market segment, Channel mix, and Revenue tools
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with industry-specific software (e.g., Opera Cloud, Amadeus CRS, IDeaS G3, BI Tools, LightHouse, Fornova, Travelclick, Demand360, Accor (inhouse tools)
  • Strong quantitative skills to interpret large datasets and identify performance trends.
  • Ability to present complex data insights and coordinate with different departments
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of business ethics and professional decorum
  • Strong interpersonal skills
