Sofitel New York is looking for Security Manager to join our Security department.  The Security Department’s vision is to provide the highest level of excellence and to meet and exceed Sofitel New York’s Five Star standards.  We operate with a professional approach to all issues, while anticipating needs to achieve our guest’s satisfaction.

Manager, Security & Loss Prevention

Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees, guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations.  Your leadership as the Security & Loss Prevention Manager will develop an exceptional Loss Prevention team and efficient protocols to support the hotel as a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

• This position’s salary range is $85 – 90k.

  What you will be doing:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the Loss Prevention department
• Ensure overall guest and employee safety through the implementation and review of hotel wide security measures
• Act as a liaison within the community, TSQ alliance, and law enforcement agencies to maintain awareness of current and future security issues
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the hotel is prepared to successfully navigate and respond during a potential crisis
• Oversee training and communication as it relates to first aid and health & safety for staff and guests

Your experience and skills include:

• Service focused personality is essential
• Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
• Be a collaborative team player, a creative problem solver who leads with your heart
• Prior experience working in hotel security management.
• Work well under pressure, remaining calm & courteous at all times.
