Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an emerging leader ready to take the next step in their career or currently working in a supervisory role. Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant Manager, this hands-on position is responsible for leading and supporting the reservations team through the end-to-end process of FIT and Group bookings.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the pre-arrival experience for our guests, ensuring every interaction is seamless and personalized. By identifying key moments in the guest journey, you will help set the stage for the broader team to deliver exceptional service and memorable stays.


Qualifications

You will have:

  • Working experience in a similar role (front office or reservations within the premium hotel segment is preferred)
  • Proven experience supervising and motivating diverse teams across different functions
  • A strong track record of accurate reporting and data integrity, even under tight deadlines
  • Full-time availability (primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required)
  • Deep understanding of reservations processes, including FIT and group bookings
  • Creative thinking and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with the Adelaide market and local travel trends (advantageous)
  • Experience using Opera Cloud and Resaweb (preferred)
  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across departments and with external partners
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a seamless guest experience
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and follow-through
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to contribute to a positive team culture
  • Confidence in using technology and hotel systems to streamline operations and enhance service delivery
  • A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
