Job Description

Joining our dedicated Reservations team, our Full time Reservations/Groups Sales Agent will provide a luxury booking experience to our guests. Within this role you will:

  • Responsible for assistance with managing group bookings of 10 rooms or more that do not require catering (with the exception of breakfast and group dinner booking).
  • Preparation of group information sheets (group movements) and briefing of Hotel stakeholder prior to arrival of group.
  • Manage group payments, cancellations, rooming lists, terms and conditions.
  • Maintains control of guest history and report to the Group Reservations Executive and Reservations Manager.
  • Ensures a clear line of communication with other departments for special requests, or other reservation-related matters.
  • Assisting FIT Reservations team to ensure all reservations check lists are accurately actioned within the same working day
  • Assisting FIT Reservations team to answer all calls promptly, using hotel specific greetings
  • Assisting FIT Reservations team to process and input FIT and corporate reservations following hotel policy.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Hotel PMS systems, such as Opera and Opera Cloud are favourable
