Job Description

  • Greet and check-in/check-out guests in accordance with Swissotel standards

  • Handle room reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently

  • Process payments, deposits, and billing with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Anticipate guest needs and coordinate with relevant departments to fulfill requests

  • Provide information about room types, hotel services, special packages, and promotions

  • Maintain accurate records, complete daily reports, and manage shift handovers smoothly

  • Promote and manage loyalty program memberships

  • Assist with Executive Lounge operations, including guest registration and concierge duties

  • Provide orientation and on-the-job training for new colleagues as a buddy/trainer

  • Take on the role of shift leader in the absence of the Front Office Supervisor

  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in front and back office areas

  • Communicate professionally and proactively resolve guest complaints when needed


Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field (preferred)

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar Front Office role

  • Strong command of English (C1 or above); additional languages are a plus

  • Proficient in Opera PMS or similar hotel management software

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Guest-focused, detail-oriented, and a natural team player

  • Flexible with working hours, including night shifts and weekends
