Quality & Sustainability Manager

We're looking for a Quality & Sustainability Manager to join our organization in Alexandria, Egypt. In this role, you will drive our commitment to operational excellence and environmental responsibility by developing and implementing comprehensive quality and sustainability programs. The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with a visionary approach to create measurable improvements across our operations while ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and ensure organizational compliance with relevant standards
• Design and execute sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource optimization programs
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and document findings with actionable recommendations
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization
• Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality and sustainability practices into daily operations and decision-making processes
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff understanding of quality standards, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management on quality performance, sustainability metrics, and compliance status
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure adherence to environmental and quality regulations specific to Egypt
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress toward quality and sustainability goals
• Identify and assess risks related to quality and environmental compliance, implementing mitigation strategies as needed

• Proven experience (5+ years) in quality management, sustainability, or related field within a manufacturing or operations environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant quality and environmental management systems
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, statistical tools, and performance measurement
• Solid understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability best practices, and carbon footprint analysis
• Experience conducting internal and external audits and managing corrective/preventive actions
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with quality management software or ERP systems
• Knowledge of supply chain sustainability and vendor management practices
• Familiarity with local Egyptian environmental regulations and compliance requirements
• Preferred: Environmental certifications (such as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or equivalent)
• Preferred: Experience in sustainability reporting and carbon accounting methodologies
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
