Job Description

What do we expect from you?

Under the general guidance of Director of Finance or any other authorized by the management, to ensure that a coordinated approach is taken in all aspects of procurement to ensure value for money is achieved in a cost effective and efficient way in accordance to the Company policy and procedures.

How your day looks like?

  • Assist in the introduction of new systems and techniques to generate efficiencies and improved ways of working
  • Cooperate in the development, implementation, and monitoring the procurement strategy to ensure efficiency, cost control and transparency. 
  • Develop and implement Procurement’s policy and processes to ensure operational and financial requirements are supported
  • Manage, administer and coordinate procurement to ensure compliance with the established standards
  • Take an active role in planning and assisting in the delivery of the efficiency targets required for the Hotel
  • Develop a robust register of contracts in order to maximize cost efficiencies
  • Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
  • Ensures quality of procured items and addresses issues when they arise.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendors based on quality, service and price through purchasing specifications.
  • Develop and implement innovative methods of procurement in order to continually improve the business process
  • Assist the Director of Finance in providing management information and performance measurement in all aspects of procurement in order to track costs and results
  • Control process of receiving and store management.
  • To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven track record of cost savings and process improvements
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in purchasing software and Microsoft Office applications
