As a global leader in the hospitality industry, Accor is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests while driving innovative solutions that meet the evolving demands of the market. One of the key areas identified for growth is managing group bookings (8 rooms & more) for hotel accommodations, particularly for B2B clients whose demand for a seamless and efficient group booking system presents a significant business opportunity.

Accor is looking for an experienced Product Owner (5years +) to play a vital role in shaping the vision and strategy for the group booking product. The individual will be responsible for understanding the full booking journey—from hotel configuration and availability management to integration with hotel management systems and the check-in process. Their insights and expertise will help streamline operations, ensure a frictionless experience for users, and drive revenue growth through enhanced service offerings. This key position is not only about delivering a product but also about transforming how groups experience their journey with Accor, ultimately contributing to our long-term success and growth in the industry.

Your mission:

 

  • Vision Development: Define and communicate the product vision for the groups Hotel Booking System, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies and customer needs.
  • End-to-End Journey Management: Gain a thorough understanding of the entire booking process, from hotel setup and configuration to the integration with hotel management systems and guest check-in procedures.
  • Expertise on Room Blocks: Serve as the subject matter expert on group bookings, advising internal teams on best practices and strategies for room block management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other PO, engineering, and sales, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of product enhancements.
  • Opportunity Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities related to group bookings, including direct connectivity and reservation system’s evolutions
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences.
  • User Stories and Requirements: Write clear and actionable user stories detailed requirements that guide the development team.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the product meets quality standards by participating in testing phases, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements based on user and stakeholder input.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

And you?

 

  • Knowledge of product management, with a strong technical understanding, including the ability to engage with development teams and comprehend API integrations as well as the technical challenges of website development.
  • Strong customer focus and sensitivity to user needs.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Ability to anticipate risks and propose proactive solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Fluency in both French and English, both written and spoken.
