About Orient Express Venezia
Orient Express will open its second hotel in Italy at the exceptional in Venice. Architect and interior designer Aline Amar d’Amman, alongside her studio Culture in Architecture, has been entrusted to design and decorate the space.
Venice, once the gateway to Constantinople and a mythical stop on the legendary Orient Express train – that opened its doors in 1919 with the completion of the Simplon tunnel linking Switzerland to Italy – will be the home of the second Orient Express hotel, set to open in 2026.

Si occupano di assicurare la massima qualità di tutti i servizi necessari per la perfetta pulizia di stoviglie, attrezzature e strumenti utilizzati nei ristoranti e nei bar per il servizio agli Ospiti e per la preparazione delle esperienze food & beverage in eventi, banqueting, SPA e camere/suite. La professionalità dei nostri plonge steward è cruciale per innalzare gli standard in tutti i punti di ristorazione (F&B), operando in modo impeccabile.
Principali responsabilità
- Utilizzare e mantenere le attrezzature e gli strumenti di pulizia, comprese lavastoviglie, postazioni di lavaggio manuale, aree per la pulizia di pentole e contenitori dei rifiuti.
- Monitorare i materiali di consumo e ridurre sprechi e deterioramenti.
- Garantire la pulizia di stoviglie, posate, bicchieri, pentole, padelle e altri utensili da cucina secondo gli standard di performance.
- Ispezionare, prelevare e impilare gli articoli puliti, verificando costantemente se alcuni necessitano di essere nuovamente strofinati e lavati.
- Posizionare negli appositi cestelli e risciacquare con acqua calda per sciogliere e rimuovere i residui di cibo; smistare, mettere in ammollo e lavare/rilavare le posate in argento.
- Assicurare che le stoviglie pulite siano riposte nelle aree appropriate e smaltire il vetro negli appositi contenitori, nel rispetto delle procedure di qualità.
- Lavare e disinfettare cucine e aree di altri reparti, tavoli, strumenti, coltelli, contenitori e attrezzature.
- Supportare le attività di magazzino, come la ricezione delle consegne, la corretta conservazione dei prodotti deperibili e la rotazione delle scorte.
- Garantire il corretto stoccaggio e utilizzo dei prodotti chimici e dei detergenti.
- Smontare i contenitori sporchi e gestirli secondo i programmi di smaltimento dei rifiuti.
- Svuotare e mantenere i cestini dei rifiuti e l’area dei cassonetti.
- Smontare le scatole di cartone e conferire queste e gli altri materiali riciclabili negli appositi contenitori.
- Collaborare all’inventario periodico delle attrezzature operative.
- Supportare l’allestimento delle richieste per eventi e funzioni (ad esempio ordini di piatti).
- Rispettare tutte le politiche, procedure e standard di servizio dell’hotel, incluse le norme HACCP e le procedure di salute e sicurezza.
- Partecipare ai corsi di formazione.
- Approfondita conoscenza di tutte le procedure di pulizia, dell’uso della lavastoviglie e dei tipi di prodotti chimici da utilizzare.
- Chiara comprensione delle procedure HACCP adottate e delle loro finalità.
- Conoscenza delle politiche e procedure in materia di salute e sicurezza sul lavoro.
- Buone capacità comunicative.
- Spiccata attenzione ai dettagli e capacità organizzative.
- Solida conoscenza degli standard di qualità dei ristoranti dell’hotel.
- Flessibilità, adattabilità e capacità di lavorare sotto pressione, garantendo il rispetto delle scadenze e dei livelli di qualità richiesti.
- Buona conoscenza della lingua italiana; la conoscenza dell’inglese costituisce un plus.
- Diritto legale a lavorare in Italia.
