Painter/Decorator/Handyman

• Carry out high‑quality painting, decorating, and general maintenance tasks across the hotel.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify areas needing repair or improvement.
• Ensure all work meets Health & Safety standards and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Use basic computer tools to report and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate more complex problems when required.
• Work flexibly across Novotel Auckland Airport & Pullman Auckland Airport hotels, supporting smooth daily operations with minimal guest disruption.

You will be…

• Qualified in Painting & Decorating (preferred) or bringing proven experience in painting, decorating, or general maintenance.
• Experienced in hotels, hospitality, or commercial buildings, or eager to apply your skills in this environment.
• Well‑presented and a great communicator, with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
• Self‑motivated and disciplined, with a passion for delivering high‑quality workmanship.
• Knowledgeable in Health & Safety practices related to maintenance and painting work.
• Comfortable using basic computer tools to report tasks, communicate with the team, and complete online training.
