Job Description

Located on the doorstep of Surry Hills & Oxford Street, Ibis Styles Sydney Central is the perfect destination for guests to experience all that Sydney has to offer! We are currently seeking full time Night Auditor to join our team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Welcoming our late arrival guests and farewell to our early departures.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel’s overnight operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.
  • Taking initiative to ensure positive and productive interactions with our customers.
  • Undertake the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, including checking and preparing reports, completing audits, and collating the necessary paperwork for departures.
  • Prepare and distribute relevant reports to relevant departments.
  • Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guest details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.
  • Providing efficient service for guest registration and departure by checking in and out guests as required.
  • Maximising guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.
  • Attending to guests' requests efficiently and effectively to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Your skills and experience include:

  • Previous customer service experience in a Hotel environment
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office and preferably in Opera Cloud
  • The ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues is required
  • Strong communication skills and pride in personal presentation
  • A genuine customer service focus and a strong dedication to always making our guest’s smile during their stay
  • Availability to work overnight shifts
  • Valid Australian working rights
