We are looking for Full Time - Maitre'd/Restaurant Host to join our fast pace working environment to provide high quality customer service to our guests at our Sydney International Lounges.
As a HMaitre'd/Restaurant Host with Qantas Lounges by Accor, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience. Your warm, personal attention provides a memorable first impression for guests of our restaurants and lounges, making them feel welcome and valued.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Managers, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service
- Understand the Server’s tasks in the outlet
- Assist in restaurant/lounges with F&B service
- Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
- Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Other duties as assigned
Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for the role, you will have the following:
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive, intuitive and efficient.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
- A high standard of grooming and personal presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- A positive team player and guest-centric mindset.
- MUST have full working rights within in Australia
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
