Job Description

Lead the Stage:

  • You'll be the maestro of our dining room, ensuring a flawless performance for every guest.
  • With a keen eye for detail and a passion for service excellence, you'll orchestrate a seamless dining experience from curtain rise (reservations) to standing ovation (farewells).

Your Vision, Our Success:

  • Collaborate with the Fairmont Southampton Executive Team to craft innovative strategies that elevate our brand and maximize profitability.
  • Think creatively—identify opportunities to make The Waterlot Bermuda's undisputed culinary destination

Beyond the Baton:

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, mentoring and nurturing your team's full potential.
  • Your expertise in Micros or similar POS systems ensures smooth operations and efficient service.
  • Ensure all food and beverage brand standards are consistently maintained while seeking ways to improve the business and maximize revenue potential.
  • Balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs.
  • Ensure proper marketing and promotion of the operation, including maximizing all sporting events and golf partnerships.
  • Train employees on all aspects of the POS system, including programming and maintenance.
  • Ensure the Food and Beverage department achieves its financial and operational targets.
  • Ensure the restaurant’s cleanliness, safety, and appearance are consistently upheld to maintain an ambiance guests love and are drawn to.
  • Develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with all supporting departments.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of three years of experience leading a team in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • A deep understanding of fine dining service and a passion for hospitality are essential.
  • You're a master organizer, able to balance operational needs with exceptional guest service.
  • Your adaptability and initiative will allow you to thrive in our dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen in restaurant operations is required
