• Being a lifeguard means that you will be responsible for the safety of the guests in the water, whether they are enjoying swimming at one of the resort swimming pools or at the beach. To become a lifeguard means that you will have to have a lifeguard certification, with CPR and first aid training, and a proven track record as a good swimmer. Ensure that all individuals taking part in these activities adhere to the rules to prevent injuries and other accidents. Lifeguards also respond to any emergencies in a timely manner. Maintain the look of the swimming area, clean up after guest, neaten the sun chairs, ensure that objects are out of the water when bathers leave, and ensure that all the pool and beach equipment is functioning correctly. To work under the guidance of the Recreation Manager with a special emphasis in the Resort operation, policy, procedure and standards, are maintenanced
