Job Description

  • Assessing company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives
  • Identifying and arranging suitable training solutions for employees
  • Conducting performance evaluations and assessments
  • Creating and implementing a strategic plan to meet the learning and development needs of the organization
  • Directing the design, development, and delivery of training programs and materials
  • Managing the budgets for training and development activities
  • Overseeing the creation of educational materials such as online learning modules, workshop materials, and instructional videos
  • Collaborating with various managers and executives to understand and implement training goals
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and instructors, and making improvements as necessary
  • Maintaining knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar role
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Proficiency in key metrics and reporting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
  • BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field

Additional Information

experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
additional languages are a plus
