Job Description

Learning & Development Manager - DACH (m/f/d)

Are you ready to inspire growth and development in the Accor family? As the Learning & Development Manager (m/f/d) for the Accor Academy in the DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) region, you will be a champion for our Heartist® culture, guiding and growing talent while driving our learning and development strategy across a dynamic area. From coordinating innovative training programs to fostering new business opportunities, your leadership will be pivotal in nurturing our culture of excellence.

 

What will you do?

  • Lead and promote the Academy’s learning & development initiatives for new and existing team members across the DACH region.
  • Advise and support Accor hotels and headquarter offices, implementing training actions and communicating the Academy’s offerings to foster engagement.
  • Organize and execute top-tier training programs, managing a network of external trainers and providing a first-class learning environment.
  • Drive the Academy sales strategy towards our different operators and partners in the region, monitoring projects and hunting for new business opportunities to enhance training & service-revenue.
  • Develop training content, conduct in-house sessions, and adapt international programs for local implementation as needed.
  • Represent the Academy vis-à-vis the local works councils, for our headquarters as well as our different operating partners in Germany on L&D projects, initiatives and content and support the our HR-Team in negotiations on these matters
  • Work closely with local key stakeholders including HR experts, management teams and local employee representatives on Accor’s side, as well as our General Managers and partners on the hotel-side

    Qualifications

    Our ideal profile would be:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Learning & Development or an HR leadership role, ideally in a multi-country or regional context.
    • Strong background in L&D program delivery, with proven project management expertise.
    • Experience in business development, generating high sales results, and identifying new business opportunities.
    • Customer-oriented with a talent for building strong stakeholder relationships to partners and senior leaders in the organization
    • Confident, organized, and an excellent communicator
    • Experience working autonomously within a corporate framework and ideally also familiarity with the hospitality industry and
    • Fluency in both English and German
