The Lead Shift Building Operator reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the hotel's building systems and equipment. This includes overseeing the work of other building operators, ensuring that all systems are operating efficiently and safely, and resolving any maintenance issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as excellent leadership and organizational skills.

>Oversee the day-to-day work of other building operators

>Ensure that all building systems are operating efficiently and safely

>Resolve any maintenance issues that arise

>Perform routine maintenance and inspections of building systems and equipment

>Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs

>Work with the Director of Engineering to develop and implement new maintenance procedures and policies

>Train and supervise other building operators

>Provide excellent customer service to guests and employee

>5+ years of experience in a building operator role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment

>Trade Certificaton – Electrical

>Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

>Excellent leadership and organizational skills

>Ability to manage a team and track multiple tasks

>Ability to work independently and as part of a team

>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedules:  Shift Work inlcuding Weekends & Holidays
