Job Description

Be a part of the progress with Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park, and join our team as a Kitchen Attendant / Steward

As a Kitchen Attendant, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in ensuring the highest standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchens and staff common areas.

About the Role: 

This role is offering both Part-Time or Casual positions. 

Reporting to the Chief Steward, your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure a safe and clean work space is maintained.
  • Ensure our kitchens and staff common areas are supplied with sanitised, clean and dry operational equipment.
  • Appropriately handle chemicals and equipment as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment.
  • Deep cleaning kitchens including.
  • Store equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware hygienically and safety. 

Qualifications

About You!

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of performance, as well as: 

  • Proven experience in a similar, high volume and fast paced venue. 
  • Flexible availability to work a rotating roster including, weekends, AM & PM shifts.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others, with an ability to work independently. 
  • Strong desire to achieve high standards and results driven.
