We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen and Laundry Equipment Technician to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring smooth operations in our facilities.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various kitchen and laundry equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues in equipment efficiently
• Support and maintain refrigeration systems in kitchens, cold rooms, and storage areas
• Ensure proper calibration and functioning of thermostats, timers, and control systems
• Conduct repairs and maintenance in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
• Follow organizational safety policies and proper handling of chemicals, refrigerants, and cleaning agents
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and service requests from kitchen and laundry departments
• Collaborate with other technicians to minimize downtime and disruption of operations
• Manage spare parts inventory and request replenishment when required
• Assist in implementing energy and water-saving initiatives related to equipment

• Strong knowledge of kitchen and laundry equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle emergencies effectively
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in equipment maintenance
• Technical diploma or certification in appliance repair or related field (preferred)
• Experience in kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance and repair
• Flexibility to work in different shifts as required
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing efficient service
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
