Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department. Working closely with the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Executive Housekeeper, you will help maintain exceptional cleanliness standards and deliver consistently high-quality guest experiences across the hotel.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and support the housekeeping team during daily operations.
  • Conduct room inspections to ensure brand and cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Ensure guest requests and special requirements are actioned promptly.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or faulty equipment.
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Supporting Accor’s environmental program.
  • Assist in creating a positive and productive team environment.
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with WHS procedures.
  • Participating in required training, briefings, and Accor Academy modules.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • A confident communicator with a positive and team-focused attitude.
  • Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Well-presented with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Physically capable of performing manual tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling, stairs).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
  • Have full working rights in Australia.
