Job Description

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our hotel.

  • Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry services
  • Allocate work duties to team members and create efficient cleaning schedules
  • Conduct routine inspections of all check-out rooms and spot checks of occupied rooms to maintain quality standards
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and equipment maintenance
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance and adherence to brand standards
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Manage special cleaning projects and deep cleaning schedules
  • Prepare and maintain accurate housekeeping records and reports

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
