Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay at our hotel.

  • Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, assigning tasks and ensuring high-quality performance
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, including bedding, bathrooms, and amenities
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and guest room items, placing orders as needed
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns
  • Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, including room status reports and staff schedules
  • Conduct daily briefings with staff to communicate important information and address any issues

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Customer-focused approach with a warm and caring personality
  • Ability to anticipate and address guest needs proactively
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
