Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Housekeeping Executive to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our property.

  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and housekeeping facilities
  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and identify any maintenance issues
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, ensuring proper stock levels
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction
  • Implement and maintain housekeeping procedures and standards in line with company policies
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports on room status, maintenance issues, and staff performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations in all housekeeping operations

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or related field
  • Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Superior customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using property management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
  • Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, walking, and light lifting
