Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping to join our team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.

  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and concerns
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
  • Assist in training new team members on housekeeping procedures
  • Participate in regular quality inspections to maintain service standards
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Contribute to the overall guest experience through exceptional service and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Strong customer service skills with a guest-centric approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across departments
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Experience with property management systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus
  • Basic computer skills for managing schedules and reports
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and current cleaning standards is preferred
