Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Relations Manager to join our team in the beautiful coastal city of Hurghada, Egypt. As the face of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our reputation for outstanding hospitality.

  • Lead and support all aspects of guest relations, including front desk operations, concierge services, and VIP guest management
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring positive resolutions
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate seamless guest experiences
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage room assignments and special requests for VIP guests and groups
  • Train and mentor team members to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service quality
  • Implement and promote loyalty programs to drive guest retention and revenue
  • Coordinate with local tour operators and attractions to enhance guest experiences
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively
  • Stay updated on local events, attractions, and cultural activities to provide informed recommendations to guests

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven leadership experience in guest relations or a similar role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, preferably Opera Property Management System
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
  • Familiarity with the local tourism industry, attractions, and cultural customs in Hurghada and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating lasting memories
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices
