Job Description

We are looking for a versatile and creatively driven Graphic Designer to join the marketing team at Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in creating modern and engaging visual content for both digital and traditional platforms. This includes everything from static social media graphics to animated videos, digital menu boards, IPTV screen visuals, and print collaterals for on-site branding.

You will be responsible for interpreting brand and campaign requirements into compelling visual assets that elevate the hotel’s positioning across all customer touchpoints – including screens, website, social platforms, signage, menus, and third-party platforms. You must have a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of digital formats and specifications, and the agility to manage a fast-paced volume of adaptation requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver creative assets across all mediums including static artwork, motion graphics, short videos, animated screens, and layouts for IPTV, lobby/lift screens, and digital signage.
  • Create visually appealing artwork for social media, digital advertising, Mailchimp EDMs, website banners, and third-party online platforms (e.g., OTAs, Google, Sojern, etc.).
  • Adapt and produce content for menus (print + QR-linked), vouchers, posters, tent cards, flyers, board notices, and other traditional hotel materials as per brand guidelines.
  • Manage the visual identity across all hotel sub-brands and venues (e.g., Lido Restaurant, Golden Lion, Queen’s Grill, Pavilion, Crystal Bar), ensuring visual consistency.
  • Take ownership of ongoing adaptations and refreshes required for seasonal campaigns, pricing changes, promotions, and screen rotations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and E-commerce team, ensuring creative assets align with overall campaign goals and commercial objectives.
  • Study project briefs, define visual requirements, and deliver polished designs within set deadlines and brand style guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand design requirements for meetings, banquets, events, and hotel experiences.
  • Maintain a library of open files, design templates, logos, images, and videos, organised and accessible for future use.
  • Support the creation of marketing content used on Social Media platforms, WhatsApp, IPTV, emailers, third-party booking links, and hotel screens.
  • Collaborate on content planning and generation for hotel video reels, reels for TikTok/Instagram, YouTube shots and creative concepts that support brand storytelling.
  • Keep updated with latest design trends, digital content formats, and motion/video innovations to keep QE2’s visuals fresh and contemporary.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of relevant graphic design experience (hospitality or agency background preferred).
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro/After Effects for video and motion graphics.
  • Experience designing for digital platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, websites, email, and online ads.
  • Familiarity with IPTV and screen-based content formats including aspect ratios, resolutions, file types, and scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, colour theory, and responsive layout design.
  • Skilled at managing high volumes of artwork adaptation requests quickly and with precision.
  • Highly creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and handle multiple deadlines.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating range across both print and digital media.
  • Video editing and motion design experience is essential for this role.
