Job Description

Step into the world of timeless elegance and refined hospitality at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, where luxury meets coastal sophistication. We are seeking an inspiring and experienced General Manager who embodies L’Art de Vivre, fosters collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and brings excellence to every aspect of our renowned property.

ROLE SCOPE:

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy that enhances the hotel’s profitability, market positioning, and operational excellence.
  • Drive financial success through revenue management, cost control, and investment in high-impact initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, Accor leadership, and key stakeholders to ensure business alignment.
  • Champion Sofitel’s luxury service philosophy, ensuring all guest touchpoints reflect the highest standards.
  • Oversee Reputation Performance Score (RPS) and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) metrics, driving continuous improvement.
  • Innovate and enhance guest experiences, ensuring each stay is memorable and distinctive.
  • Lead a high-performing, engaged team, fostering a workplace culture of excellence, empowerment, and continuous development.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention, ensuring the hotel attracts and nurtures top hospitality talent.
  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader, inspiring colleagues and creating an exceptional workplace environment.
  • Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations alongside the Hotel Manager, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and adherence to luxury standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with Accor policies, Australian regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Implement best-in-class operational strategies that balance service excellence with commercial efficiency.
  • Position the hotel as a leader in the Gold Coast luxury market, driving occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
  • Build strong partnerships with VIP guests, corporate clients, and travel industry leaders to enhance brand loyalty.
