Job Description

Positioned in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant CBD, Novotel Sydney City Centre is a flagship destination for business & leisure travellers alike.  Boasting 283 rooms and our vibrant Birdie Bar & Brasserie, the hotel offers contemporary accommodation accompanied by heartfelt service and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.

As part of the Salter Brothers Accor Portfolio, you will work alongside an experienced Executive Committee.

In the role of General Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and management oversight, ensuring all departments collaborate effectively to achieve the Hotel’s objectives.

You will lead a skilled team, including the Front Office Manager, Head Chef, Guest Experience Executive & Maintenance Manager – upholding Novotel brand standards while delivering exceptional guest experience. You will also inspire and mentor a motivated team of emerging hospitality professionals, fostering their growth and passion for the industry.  


Qualifications

Your skills & experience will include:

  • Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager
  • A passion for instilling exceptional guest experience with a focus on People, Product & Performance.
  • Demonstrated success with Loyalty contributions and a keen focus on increasing RPS.
  • Extensive rooms division background with an understanding of the local market.
  • Outgoing, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
