Job Description

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This key position provides essential support to the finance department, helping to maintain financial accuracy and uphold the integrity of the hotel’s revenue processes. This role is varied and may include Accounts Receivable, invoicing, credit applications, debt collection, and cashiering duties.

You will be responsible for:

  • Uploading daily revenue and maintaining ledger movement.

  • Managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, including credit applications, account setup, invoicing, and payment processing.

  • Following up on outstanding accounts and ensuring timely debt collection.

  • Monitoring credit card and travel agent commissions, resolving discrepancies with internal teams and banks.

  • Preparing accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end documentation.

  • Supporting internal team training and contributing to a culture of learning and compliance.

  • Assisting in WHS, sustainability initiatives, and promoting Accor’s values and service standards.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is organised, efficient under pressure, and passionate about delivering high standards of financial accuracy and service.


Qualifications

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

  • Solid knowledge of financial systems and accounting procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and financial software systems.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.

  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, sustainability, and diversity.
